When your money gets stolen, you’ll pay the price
I spent six months investigating a series of cases involving payment systems used by NHL players and other professional athletes.
They’re all about to happen.
The NHLPA has already issued a new set of rules for its players that will be subject to public comment before the end of the month, but what happens to players whose money gets lost or stolen?
A report in The Associated Press reports that players who were paid for work not performed will be required to pay back any money they received in cash or a check.
In addition, players will be prohibited from using third-party payment systems and will be limited to using the NHL’s official official payment system.
Players will also have to submit a form to the league detailing how they paid for the work.
The proposed new rules are expected to be implemented by the end
